J is for Jobs and K is for Kennedy

How was your weekend?  We had a wonderful weekend full of grandparents visiting and spending time outside.  Because of all our fun I didn't have time to post Saturday so that's why I give you "J" and "K" today.

J is for Steve Jobs
(1955-2011)

from Wikipedia
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

K is for John F. Kennedy
(1917-1963)

John F. Kennedy from Wikipedia

"A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on. Ideas have endurance without death."

And here are the quotes from last week. Which ones were your favorites?

E- Albert Einstein: “Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.”
F- Richard Feynman: “The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.”
G- Gandhi: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
H- Victor Hugo: To love another person is to see the face of God.”
I- St. Ignatius: “He who goes about to reform the world must begin with himself, or he loses his labor.”
J- Steve Jobs: "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

All quotes found on Goodreads.

Happy Monday! Hope you have a great week! Did you get to spend time enjoying the wonderful spring weather this weekend?

  7. My favorite was the one from Steve Jobs; there is certainly truth in that! Glad you had a nice weekend with grandparents and spending time with family; that is so much more important than blogs! My philosophy is blogs are always here and yep, they always are here :)
