Cleveland is Cooler Than You Think!
All over the media, in tv and movies, Cleveland gets made fun of. In this year's A-Z Challenge, I'm here to show you everything Cleveland has to offer!
K is for Kelleys Island
If you're ready to get a way from the hectic hustle and bustle of Cleveland you can head northwest about 2 hours, including a short ferry ride to Kelleys Island where you can enjoy relaxing by the lake or hiking through Glacial Grooves Geological Preserve.
Kelleys Island is one of the many Lake Erie Islands which are predominantly summer tourist spots, where you can tour wineries, shop, take a boat tour of Lake Erie, and enjoy many different places to eat.
Or if you prefer roller coasters, instead of taking the ferry, you can just stay in Sandusky and head to Cedar Point for some thrilling adventures on their newest ride Valravn, the tallest, fastest, longest dive roller coaster.
Even though we've been in Cleveland for 10 years now, we still haven't made it to Kelleys Island yet. Hopefully this summer we'll get there.
Doggy Style (It's really not what you think!)
My three kids have taken up the habit of naming all the different positions our beagle Rory gets himself into. Most of the time even I can't quite figure out why they chose the names they did but I thought it might put a smile on everyone's face to share in this silliness!

Most of the time Rory acts like a kitten laying in the sun or laying on the tops of all our couches.
