My family and I were so touched and overwhelmed by all the wonderful comments and well wishes for Jess in the Blog Blitz!  I can't thank you enough or fully express how much it meant to both Jess and me.  

Thank you DL Hammons, for starting the Blog Blitz campaign and making people's days just a little brighter.  It really does make a difference.  It reminds me that even a small action can make a huge impact on someone; that we don't have to do something huge and world renown to make a difference.   We can make the world a better place by giving even a little bit of happiness and joy to those around us, those friends, family members, and acquaintances that maybe sometimes we take for granted.  Sometimes I wander around too in my own head and focused on my own day to notice someone else that might need even the smallest pick-me-up. Today I'm going to try to be more conscious of the people I see and take the opportunities I'm given to make their day a little brighter.
